Step 1 Warming-up (PPT 3-5)		1. Review the conversation we learned in last lesson. 2. Ask Ss to make conversations using the polite question.				对上节课所学的句型进行复习，主要对委婉语气和宾语从句进行练习，为本课学习做准备。
Step 2 Lead-in (PPT 6)		Work on 2a. 1.Ask Ss to have a discussion about how to make polite requests. Where do you need to make polite requests? Think of some possible situations. Discuss them with your partner. 2. List the polite sentences and different situations.				思考2 a的问题，列出一些你可能遇到的不同场合，并考虑如何发出自己礼貌的请求。导入2a课文。
Step 3 Pre-reading (PPT 7-14)		Fast reading. Read the article and underline the topic sentence for each paragraph. 2. Learn the reading strategies and choose and use suitable languages in different cultures.				阅读前，学阅读策略，学会在不同的文化中选择适当的语言，快速阅读之后连线每一段的大意。

Step 5 Language points (PPT 20-38)		1. Ask Ss to read the language points so that they can understand the language points deeply. 2. Explain the usage of polite, correct, request, lead in to, on time, look forward to, reply, etc.				阅读这些语言点使学生加深对这些单词、短语以及句型的理解。
Step 6 Practice (PPT 39-44)		Work on 2c. 1. Ask Ss to find all the direct questions and polite requests from the passage, then fill in the chart in 2c. 2. Make requests in different situations in the pictures. They can use the direct questions and polite requests. Work on 2d. Ask Ss to read the requests in 2d to know what to do. In the second column, write A if you would say it to someone you know and B if you would say it to a stranger. In the last column, write where you think these people are. Ask some Ss to read the sentences and give answers.				阅读课文之后找出文中的直接询问和礼貌的询问相关的句子。通过课件图片，在不同的场合应该有什么样的语气询问。分析2d的句子是在什么地点对什么人说的话，考查学生阅读之后是否会运用委婉语气和直接问句。
