Long ago, there was a fish called Mimo. He lived with his friends in a beautiful coral reef (珊瑚礁). Mimo had a job and that was to watch if the sharks (鲨鱼) coming near the reef. If he saw a shark, he would tell it to the octopus (章鱼). Then the octopus would come out and scare (吓) the shark away.

One day, while Mimo was swimming around, he saw a real shark swimming to him. Afraid, he ran around everywhere, shouting “SHARK” so many times, but the octopus did not come out. He didn’t believe Mimo anymore. The shark came close and started running after Mimo. Mimo swam so fast that his little heart was beating (跳动) fast. Finally, he hid in the corals. The shark couldn’t find him and swam away.
Mimo was safe but he learned a very important lesson. He knew that one should never lie. Because if he does so, people will never believe him again, even if he is telling the truth this time!

A glass of milk
During our lifetime, we should help people in need. As a return, we may get help some day in the future. In my opinion, everyone should be kind enough to treat others warm-heartedly. Next let’s enjoy this beautiful story.
One day, a poor boy was trying to pay for school by selling from door to door. He was hungry so he decided to ask for a meal at the next house. However, when a nice young woman opened the door, he changed to ask for a drink of water. She thought he looked so hungry so she brought a large glass of milk. He drank it a little slowly and then asked, “How much do I pay?” “You needn’t do that,” she said. “Mother has taught me to be kind.” “Then thank you very much,” he said.
As the boy, Howard Kelly, left the house, he felt strong and believed that people could be kind before he was about to give up.
Years later, the young woman became seriously ill. She was sent to a big city, where experts (专家) can be called in to study her illness. When Dr. Howard Kelly, a very famous doctor now, heard the name of the town that she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. At once, he got up and went down through the hospital hall into her room. He recognized her at once and decided to do his best to save her life.
From that day on, he tried to help her. After a long struggle (努力), they won!

A glass of milk

When Dr. Howard Kelly, a very famous doctor now, heard the name of the town that she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.
