利用THINK ABOUT IT里的问题导入新课。利用图片，教授新单词。学生先听课文，了解大体内容，完成Let’s Do It!中1的听力训练；然后细读课文，回答5个问题，通过此环节的训练，学生不但能熟悉课文内容，而且能抓住课文关键信息。让学生找出课文中的重要短语，接着做Let’s Do It!中2、3的相关练习。设置小组合作活动，完成活动4的表格。给学生讲解本课节的语言点，帮助学生解决课文中的疑惑和重难点。最后，通过当堂达标训练，检查学生对本课节的掌握情况。

Step 1  Lead-in

Ask the students to think about the two questions.

What’s the transportation like in your city?

What different kinds of fuel may be used in the future?

Step 2  Vocabulary

1.Teach the new words of this lesson.

2. Ask the students to read the new words in groups and try to remember them.

(1) more than 超过，多于，相当于over。
