Lesson 36: Making Plays Is Fun
设计说明 影视对学生来说并不陌生,很容易让学生产生共鸣,激发学生的兴趣,因此,通过提问学生最喜爱的演员及对幕后工作者的相关情况来导入新课,这样可以有效激活学生对相关的背景知识的认识,能最终为阅读部分的教学做很好的铺垫。通过复习上课节所学的生词短语,并学习本课节的生词短语,温故知新。播放课文录音,让学生有目的地边听边完成相应题目,锻炼学生听录音捕捉关键信息的能力。再次播放课文录音,让学生学会标准读音,并尽量模仿录音中的语音语调朗读,提升口语水平和朗读的流利度。接下来让学生再次读课文,找出重要语言点并提出疑问,在小组讨论环节解决疑问,锻炼学生合作探究解决问题的能力。在写作环节,教学生学会在某一主题下说明自己的观点,提升写作能力。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:actress 短语:put on 2.能力目标 能够使用所学内容谈论电影。 3.情感目标 了解工作背后的艰辛,珍惜别人的劳动成果。 重点难点 1.重点:学习本课节新词汇及重要表达。 2.难点:用英语描述电影制作的艰辛与乐趣。 教学准备 PPT课件;相关音频文件。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up 1. Ask the students the following questions. (1) Who’s your favourite actor or actress? (2) Can you name some people who work behind the scenes on movies and plays? 2. Let the students talk about the questions in groups. 3. After a while,let them present their ideas to the class in front of the class. Step 2 Revision Ask the students to review these words and expressions. handsome adj. 好看的;英俊的 playwright n. 剧作家 tragedy n. 悲剧 teahouse n. 茶馆 in order to 为了;以便 Step 3 Pre-reading 1. Show the students the new word and the expression and the pictures.

Ask the students to find some difficult language points. 7. Let the students have a discussion about these difficult language points in groups of four. 8. Correct the mistakes of the writing. Step 7 Language points 1. It can take hundreds of people to make a movie or put on a play. 拍一部电影或演一出戏可能需要数百人。 put on (1) 上演 They will put on a new play. 他们将上演一部新剧。 (2) 穿上 强调穿衣服鞋帽等动作。 Put on your coat. It's very cold outside. 穿上你的大衣,外面非常冷。 (3) 增加 常表示体重增长。 I have put on some weight these days. 这些天,我的体重增长了一些。 2. We seldom think about the people who work behind the scenes. 我们很少考虑在幕后工作的人。 seldom 在本句中意思是 “不常;很少;难得”。含有seldom的句子属于否定句,构成反意疑问句时疑问短句部分要用肯定形式。 He seldom helps his mother do the housework, does he? 他很少帮妈妈做家务,对吧? 【拓展】seldom 用在句首时,句子要部分倒装。 Seldom have I watched such beautiful flowers. 我很少看到如此漂亮的花。 3. My group performed a play called The Fisherman and the Goldfish. 我的小组表演了一个叫《渔夫和金鱼》的短剧。 called是过去分词形式,作play的定语,相当于定语从句which is called。 I know a boy called Jack. =I know a boy who is called Jack. 我认识一个叫杰克的男孩。 Step 8 Homework 1.
