一、课时内容
教科书第7页:B.Let’s try Let’s talk Ask the question and then pass it on.
二、课时分析
本课时是义务教育灵通版(pep)小学英语教科书五年级下册的第一单元第四课时,依然围绕“My day”这个话题展开内容。包括Let’s try,Let’s talk和Ask the question and then pass it on.三个板块。
Let’s try是听力训练,是为Let’s talk部分做铺垫的。Let’s talk是围绕本单元的总话题My day展开的第一个对话场景,即Sarah与Shopkeeper谈论有关Sarah的周末活动的对话,呈现了What do you do on the weekend? 的句型。通过shopkeeper询问Sarah的周末活动情况,引出了Sarah对自己通常在周末一系列活动的详细介绍,使学生们了解到Sarah是一个很懂事、孝顺、善良、勤快、刻苦用功的好女孩,为学生们树立了一个非常好的目标形象,从而教育学生们在家一定要向Sarah学习,懂得为家人分担家务,做好自己力所能及的事情。Ask the question and then pass it on.是为专项训练句型When do you…?创作的问答表演活动,用以巩固重点句型的熟练程度。
本课时是整个单元B部分的首课时,在本单元B部分中起引领与铺垫作用,重点掌握what do you do on the weekend?的问答句型和一些常用动词短语。对话中呈现了一个问句多个回答的对话情景,加深了学生对该句型的认知度,
接下来是一个活动版块,学生们以拉火车的形式进行传递式问答活动,如此这样,每个同学既能练习到回答句型,又能练习到询问句型,一举两得,并且增进相互了解与学习友谊,加深了同学之间的情感学习的氛围。
五年级的学生,有着三、四年级的学习英语的经历,具备一定的语言感知能力,并且在学习A部分打下了一定的知识基础,因此我准备依然采用多次呈现对话情景动画,通过声形并茂的方式,感染学生,使学生在新授之前,就可以了解对话内容,再鼓励学生模仿表演对话,感知新句型的应用功能,最后再提炼重点句型,通过游戏活动加以巩固。
三、课时目标
1.能够在PPT课件与教师的帮助下理解对话的大概意思。
2.能够根据正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话,并且能够进行角色表演活动。
3.能够在真实情景中灵活运用句型What do you do on the weekend? I often… 针对周末活动提出问题,并且能适当运用频度副词回答问题。
4.能够正确理解Why are you shopping today? That sounds like a lot of fun. You’re so busy! You need a robot to help you! 的意思,并且能够正确朗读。

1.教师准备网络资源动画课件、PPT课件、录音机以及录音磁带、图卡、词卡、作为奖励的小贴画。

设计意图:把学生们日常所做的事情编成儿歌,学生们非常喜欢,而且孩子们不仅仅在课上背诵,在课下做游戏的时候,例如跳皮筋,跳绳,或者是拍皮球的时候,它们的嘴里都在唠唠叨叨的说个不停,一天里不知重复多少遍,照这样,两三天的时间,学生们都能够倒背如流了。利用这种方式,把新学过的动词短语,不断填充进去,就像注入了新鲜血液,学生们喜欢不断更新,这样才感觉更有意思,不乏味。

设计意图:询问学生们在家里帮助妈妈做什么事情,对于这个话题,学生们很兴奋,都想在老师面前表现自己的能力,所以学生们都会争着抢着回答老师的问题,同学们相互做了了解,但还是意犹未尽,老师适时引出新话题,大家想不想知道Sarah在家里帮助妈妈做什么,由此倒入听力部分。
(2)播放录音,选择正确图片。

设计意图:请学生们先观察三幅图片,先能清楚每幅图片分别是什么地方,再有的放矢,带着问题提录音,学生们很容易听明白对话内容,并且能够独立完成对图片的正确选择。

3. 新课呈现
(1)播放网络资源动画课件,模仿跟读对话。
T:Boys and girls, this is Sarah and this is a shopkeeper of the shop. What are they talking about? Watch and listen to them. Then read after them.
Ss:Yes, Mrs Zhang.
设计意图:通过网络,我找到了与课文相符的动画课件,在课上首先给学生们播放动画,孩子们兴奋不已,通过动画形式展现Sarah与Shopkeeper的对话活动,学生们学习很直观, 很感兴趣,容易理解对话内容。
(2)播放PPT课件,教师点拨。
T:Why are you shopping today?中的why是特殊疑问词,汉语意思是“为什么”,常用于对事情的原因进行提问,其回答常用because开头,有时也可以省略,还可以用so。
My mum worked last night.中的last night是时间短语,其汉语意思是“昨天晚上”,worked是work的动词过去式,这是一个表示过去时态的句子。
So I’m shopping today.中的so是引导连词,汉语意思是“因此;所以”,可以引导一个句子。
What do you do on the weekend?中的on the weekend是时间短语,其汉语意思是“在周末”;第一个do是助动词,用来帮助实意动词构成问句的必不可少的小助手;第二格do是实意动词,其汉语意思是“做”,与特殊疑问词what构成固定句型“What…do?”,译为“……做什么?”。
I often watch TV and play ping-pong with my father. 此句中的often是频度副词,其汉语意思是“经常”,放在主语与谓语之间,watch TV和play ping-pong是两个动词短语,用并列连词and连接,在该句中同时作谓语,with是介词,其汉语意思是“和……一起”。
That sounds like a lot of fun.此句中的that是代指上文提到过的某件事情;sounds是sound的第三人称单数,译为“听起来”,是系动词,后面跟形容词,构成系表结构;a lot of = lots of,译为“许多;大量”,后面跟名词或名词短语。
设计意图:这段对话中有很多学生们以前很少接触甚至从未见过的形式,为了节省课堂中的新授课时间,我采用播放自制PPT课件,并且伴随讲解点拨对话中的重点与难点,这样学生会在很短的时间内打包并接受,我还在课前把相关内容打印出来,分发给每个学生,一生一份,以便成为他们慢慢消化的好助手。
(3)小组活动,相互质疑解答。

设计意图:
小组内解答完毕,组与组问答比赛,鼓励每个小组提问比较难的问题,以加减分的形式,评出优胜小组,颁发精品小贴画予以鼓励。
设计意图:组内质疑解答这一环节很有必要,因为老师在前面讲的内容,由于学生接受能力有差异,通过在小组内展开质疑解答活动,可以起到查漏补缺的绝妙作用。
(4)竞选翻译官。
A.竞选汉语翻译官。B.竞选英语翻译官。
游戏方案:将学生分成四个人一组,首先学生1朗读英语,学生2 译成汉语,学生3和学生4做评判,四名学生轮流翻译,竞争汉语翻译官。完毕之后,学生1说汉语,学生2翻译成英语,学生3和学生4做评判,四名学生再轮流竞争英语翻译官。
最后,教师扮演面试官,选出最佳翻译官,颁发精品小贴画予以鼓励。
设计意图:学英语,最直接的目标,就是做翻译官,这对学生来说,是一个比较现实版的鼓励和促进,更容易帮助孩子们树立自信心。
(5)扮演角色,练习对话。

(2)分角色朗读。

B.老师扮演佩shopkeeper,学生扮演Sarah;
C.女生扮演Sarah,男生扮演Shopkeeper;
D.女生扮演Shopkeeper,男生扮演Sarah。
(3)小组表演对话。
两个人一组,自选人物头饰,分别扮演Sarah和Shopkeeper。
首先给学生们充足的时间,进行对话情景表演练习,要求最终达到脱稿表演,然后,以小组为单位,在全班汇演,评出优胜小组,颁发精品小贴画予以鼓励。
设计意图:学生们最喜欢做游戏,尤其是扮演角色,把课本内容演变为剧本,让孩子们尽情展示自我表演技能,是孩子们乐此不彼的事情,这种寓学于乐,是学生们最渴望接受的学习方式,因此,事半功倍,势在必得。
4.操练
PPT课件,展示教课本中的两幅图和两组问答对话,以及六个动词短语。
(1)播放PPT课件,学生跟读录音数遍。
(2)播放PPT课件,学生练习为PPT配音数遍。
(3)小组游戏活动。
将全班分成七个人一组,每个人抽取一张动词短语卡片,每一次都要根据自己抽取的动词卡片里的内容进行回答,然后再提问下一个组员。

每练习完毕一次,组员们把短语卡片放在一起,打乱顺序,再重新抽取卡片,然后继续练习问答活动。
设计意图:学生们喜欢拉小火车这个问答游戏活动,操作简单易学,问答句重复性比较强,因此,学生们在刚开始练习时,速度比较慢,二、三遍下来,学生们都熟练了,自然而然,学生们熟悉过程与细节了,语速逐渐加快,增加了学生们对于重点句型的掌握程度,锻炼学生们适应真实的语言环境,提高学生们是用英语进行对话的交际能力。
