Do you do the housework around your house？Can you cook the meals for your parents?

To stress(强调) the importance of hard­working spirit education among students of different ages, the government released(发布) a guideline(指导方针). The guideline calls for students to respect(尊重) work. Students should learn basic life skills and develop good working habits through such education.

However，it has been overlooked in a way. For example，some teens don't value the importance of working hard and aren't interested in doing so. Some are even bored with hard work.

According to a study of nearly 3，000 primary and middle school students, only 22 percent of them help with everyday chores around the house. The study was done by Ningbo Evening News.

“Schools and families play an important role in teaching students about the value of working hard，” the guideline says.

Primary and middle schools should provide students with hard­working spirit classes every week. Schools can also hold activities to give students real­world experience. For example, schools can teach children the way to plant trees on Tree Planting Day.
