【教学目标】
1.Knowledge objectives:能够使用现在进行时来描述图片。能够表达自己的兴趣爱好和询问他人的兴趣爱好。
2.Skill objectives:能使用现在进行时来进行恰当的问答训练。能够就爱好这一话题进行又一定深度的表达与交流。
3.Emotional objectives:让学生感悟到家庭生活的意义。认识到良好爱好的积极意义和不良嗜好的弊端,努力培养积极健康的兴趣爱好。
【教学重点】
观察图片,描述图片的能力。
【教学难点】
做调查报告的能力和分析汇报自己的调查结果。

【教学过程】

Free talk
话题讨论,感知激趣 教师呈现一个话题,让学生思考后自由表达自己的观点。学生在表达自己观点的同时又能关注到别人的具体情况,选取的话题能让孩子产出共鸣,他们积极主动的开口说英语,提高了学习热情,为后面话题的开展做好了准备。
Teacher: What do you often do on
Sundays?
Student 1: I often play the piano at home. I like it very much.
Student 2: I often go to the part near my home. I often fly a kite in it..
Student 3: I often cook meals with my mother.
Student 4: I often play basketball with my friends. Sometimes I help my mother do some housework.
Student 5: I often go back to my hometown with my dad.
[设计意图] 将学生感兴趣的话题作为本课的热身环节,学生很容易产生共鸣,他们有话可说,又话想说,在英语自由表达的同时很好的锻炼了他们的英语思维能力。
Presentation
1. 巧设问题,导入课题
(1) 提出问题,解决问题。
Teacher: What does Gao Wei do on Sunday morning? What about his uncle's family? Students: He often goes to see his grandparents. They often go to see his grandparents, too.
(2) 观察图片,描述图片。
T: Look at the picture. This boy is Gao Wei. Who are they? S: They are Gao Wei's grandpa and grandma.
S: They are Gao Wei's mum and aunt.
T: Where are his grandpa and grandma? What are they doing now?
S: They are in the living room. One is reading newspapers and the other is watching TV.
T: Where are his mum and aunt? What are they doing now?
S: They are in the kitchen. One is washing clothes and the other is cleaning. T: Where is Gao Wei now? What is he doing now? What's his hobby? S: He is in the study. He is playing computer games. His hobby is playing computer games.
2 文本学习, 输理操练。
(1) 学生利用图片,整体感知文本。
(2) 听力测试,补充文本信息,检验学习效果。
(3) 文本练习,让学生再次输理语言,谈论文本重难点,让语言和思维一起碰撞。
3. 视屏呈现,探讨爱好教学主题。
( 1 ) 展示视频,让学生通过看、听、答来引出话题的教学内容。
Teacher: Everyone has hobbies.
But different people have different hobbies. Now I will show you a video about my daily life. Then guess what my hobbies are.
(2)看图识图,让话题谈论的空间更大。
教师安排两组不同孩子的不同爱好,让学生们看图,利用自己学习的旧知识来表达自己的观点。
Teacher:Look, think and guess. What are their hobbies?
Student: Tim likes running, playing the piano and playing football.
Student: Shirley likes reading, taking photos and playing with Barbie dolls.
(3)完成调查报告,汇报展示。教师让学生自由组合,调查自己同学的兴趣爱好,并到前面进行展示汇报。
[设计意图] 通过让学生听读、自读、小组读等多种方式来让孩子准确理解文本内容,获取文本信息,利用文本内容来解决实际问题,丰富自己的语言内容。通过图片、问答等激发学生学习兴趣、激活旧知,提高学生的观察力和注意力,提高语言学习的输入量和输出量。
Practice
情感渗透,关注他们的身心发展。
教师呈现不良的嗜好,让学生讨论辨析,不良嗜好的危害和对自己成长的弊端。
Teacher: What's the man doing?
Students: He is smoking.
Teacher: Is smoking a good hobby?
Students: No.
Teacher: Some hobbies are good for us, but some are bad. Smoking a bad hobby. Why?
Students: They give their reasons.
[设计意图] 学生不再局限在课堂的这些内容,而是让他们充分利用书籍、网络等多种学习媒介来继续讨论这个话题,让学习从课堂延伸到课外,从书本延伸到生活。
