      本节课从复习本单元话题词汇与句入手通过让学生总结、做游戏等方式全面复习激发学生的学习兴趣通过看图片、师生问答导入新课的学习在复习过程中,先仿写对话分组表演;再小组合作填表、作报告;最后分组作调查;充分训练学生对知识的综合运用能力

    教学

      (1)掌握单词:nurse

      (2)复习总结有关身体各部位的健康问题

      (3)复习用should提出建议

      2. 能力

      (1)提高学生的写作能力及自主学习能力

      (2)通过自编自演对话训练学生对本单元标语言的综合运用能力

      3. 情感

      学会些必要的安全常识以及疾病、事故与伤害等健康问题的急救方法

      1. 重点:

      (1)掌握新单词:nurse

      (2)复习总结有关身体各部位的健康问题

      (3)能用should提出建议

      2. 难点:

      用标语言编写对话提高对本单元标语言的综合运用能力及写作能力

    教学过程

      Step 1 Review

      Dictate the new words and phrases in this unit. Then check them with each other.

      Step 2 Warming up & Leading in

      TGood morningboys and girls! What health problems and accidents do we usually have in our life?

      1. Please write different health problems next to the body parts. Then write more health problems you know of.

      Headhave a headache

      Backhave a sore back

      Throathave a sore throat

      Toothhave a toothache

      Stomachhave a stomachache

      Other problemshave a coldhave a feverhave a coughcut oneselfhave a nosebleed...

      2. Play a game.

      The teacher prepares some pieces of paperand writes down the problems on the paper. Then the teacher gets some students to act them out. The others try to guess them and give some advice. They can use the following sentences.

      S1Whats the matter with...?

      S2Does she have.../Is she...?

      S3She should.../She shouldnt...

      While playing this gamewe can let the students have a competition.

      Step 3 Presentation

      TSo there are lots of problems in our life. Now lets look at this picture. What does he do?

      S1He is a doctor.

      TNow look at another picture. What does she do?

      S1She is a nurse.板书nurse

      TDo you want to be a nurse when you grow up?

      S1YesI do.

      Now look at the picture in 3b. Ask and answer the questions in groups.

      1Whats the matter with the girl in the picture?

      She cut herself.

      2What is the school nurse doing in the picture?

      She is putting some medicine on the cut.

      3What should the girl do after the treatment?

      She should be careful.

      4What shouldnt she do?

      She shouldnt keep the cut wet.

      5What other accidents are there in school?

      We may hurt our legs or knees while running. We may fall down while playing basketball.

      Step 4 Writing

      1. Brainstorm.

      Ask the students to brainstorm health problems that the students might encounter. Elicit and write answers on the board. Ask the students to imagine a health problem. How the problem might have happened? And what advice should be given?

      2. Extend the conversation.

      1Work in pairs. Write the conversation between the  nurse and the student using the notes in 3a. Here is an example.

      NAre you OK?

      SNoI dont feel well. I have a bad headache.

      NYou have a fever. You have a bad cold.

      SWhat should I do now? Should I take some medicine tonight?

      NYou shouldnt be in school today. You should go home now. Take this medicineand have a rest.

      SThank you. Ill go home right now.

      2Role-play the conversation in pairs.

      3. Practice in groups.

      Look at the chart. First fill in the chartand then report it.

      Discuss the language points in groups and fill in the blanks.

      1. 询问某人健康问题的表达方法有:

      2Whats the trouble with sb.?

      3Whats the problem with sb.?

      4Whats wrong with sb.?

      5What happened to sb.?

      2. dont feel well意为“感觉不舒服相当于feel sick/ill

      (1feel连系动词意为“觉得;摸起来”其后接形容词作表语类似的词还有:“看起来”look“听起来” sound“有……的味道”taste“有……的气味”smell

      (2well表示健康状况时形容意为“身体好的健康的”

      I dont feel very well. 我觉得身体不太好

      注意:well作副词意为“好”修饰动词

      The boy plays football well.(其well修饰plays

      Step 6 Self Check

      1. Now look at the Self Check activities and do them by yourself.Model the activities if necessary. Give the students enough time to do the activities.

      2. Compare your work with a partner.

      Step 7 Survey

      Ask your partners and fill in the chartand then choose one to write a short conversation.
