展开Unit 2 Community Life 教学设计(一)第一、第二课时 Listening and Speaking一、教材分析本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语3基础模块》中Unit 2 Warming up 和Listening and Speaking部分,单元主题是“人与社会”主题范围下关于“社区生活”的话题,听说部分要求学生能识别并询问社区设施信息以及社区服务信息,能向不同的顾客介绍社区信息,在为顾客提供咨询服务时表现出诚信和友善的态度,并能认可以及表达我国优秀的社区文化。二、学情分析知识基础经过前期的英语学习,学生掌握了一些较为基础的关于个人生活娱乐设施和人际关系的基础词汇与表达,但在关于如何表达具体的社区设施信息、服务信息,并对他人的相关提问进行回应方面缺乏系统的词汇、句型训练及练习。学生能够通过图片与情境猜测词义,但是听力水平普遍较低,在捕捉细节信息时容易遗漏、误判关键信息,需要反复练习。认知能力学生对于社区生活有一定了解,但是在介绍社区设施信息、服务信息以及回应客户询问方面,缺乏相应的知识储备和迁移能力。教师在教学活动中应注意课堂问题链的层次性、逻辑性与关联性,为学生话题产出构建充分的语言和观点支架。学习特点学生学习态度端正,思维活跃,喜欢在“真实的情景中”进行语言学习。因此教师对教学活动应进行合理的设计,由易到难,由简到繁,由机械模仿到替换练习,再到语言实践,逐步铺设台阶,把学生可能遇到的困难挫折降到最低。教学目标After leaning this lesson,students can通过本课的学习,学生能够1.predict and pick out general information in the listening materials about community life.根据问题和选项预测听力内容,能在听的过程中提取对话中的主要信息2.come up with questions about basic information of community facilities, express their needs and give response to inquiries, in order to develop their communicative capabilities.能够询问社区服务设施信息、表达需求和回应询问,培养语言沟通能力;3.introduce the community to different clients according to information in the pictures.能够根据图片信息向客户介绍社区;4.recognize and express our excellent community culture. 能够认可以及表达我国优秀的社区文化。四、教学重点、难点分析教学重点:能识别社区中的服务设施,提取具体信息,如社区有哪些设施、所处方位和提 供服务的时间等,然后进行信息转述。教学难点:能熟练运用描述社区相关信息的句型,尤其是询问和转述的常用表达。五、教学过程Step 1 Warming Up*1. 铺垫活动: Brainstorm.(1)激活词汇储备:学生说出已知的社区服务场所以及社区设施名称的英文表达,教师可适当提供图片作为提示以激活学生思维。 呈现情境:Situation:Suppose you are a staff of a community. Now, you need to introduce your community to a group of people who has just moved in, so that they could adapt to the community better and faster. Which service or facility would you like to introduce first?Add details to finish your introduction according to your choice.(随机选择 2~3位学生,每位学生介绍教师所提供图片中的1~2项服务或设施即可。)2. Look and match.处理教材活动1。个人活动,学生完成图片与社区服务选项的匹配。全班活动,教师呈现关于社区设施及服务介绍的常用词汇及表达(下表)教师选择几名学生校对答案,并要求学生从常见社区服务及设施描述中选择适当表达,对所匹配的对应图片相关社区服务及设施内容进行简单介绍。本活动呈现了 6 种社区服务设施,后续对话中涉及其中 3 种。教师可以通过提问导入话题,问题如下:What other facilities do you have in your community?3. Think and tick.处理教材活动2。(1)个人活动,学生阅读所给句子,思考并勾选出询问社区思考并勾选出询问社区信息时会用到的语句。(2)全班活动,教师点名检查并给予反馈。(3) 学生分根据教材活动 2的句子,运用Brainstorm中出现的常见社区设施及服务名称,分小组补全对话。e.g.: A: Could you tell me the way to the nearest supermarket ?(练习原句)B: Sure,go straight and walk for about 100 meters, turn left when you...(设计意图:本环节旨在激活学生关于社区设施与社区服务的常见词汇储备,让学生熟悉询问社区信息时会用到的语句,所呈现的信息会在之后的听力对话中出现,有助于学生提前进入情景,为后续听说活动做准备)Step 2 Listening 1. Listen and choose. 处理教材活动3。What facilities does the community have?学生在听前读选项,预测听力内容。然后听录音,结合选项做出选择,并对听力材料从整体上进行把握和判断。听后教师检查并反馈。2. Listen and tick. 处理教材活动4。注意提取关键信息:supermarket, convenience store, fitness center 等;学生首先阅读选项,进行初步判断。然后听录音,抓关键词,判断正误并更正错误信息。听后教师检查并反馈。3. Listen and complete. 处理教材活动5。学生先浏览Neal对新社区介绍的短文,尝试根据活动 4的内容初次填空,再听录音,根据听力内容完善自己的答案。在听力结束后,教师检查并核对答案,呈现听力文本,并简要解析其中关键信息。(设计意图:本环节旨在训练学生根据问题和选项预测听力内容,能在听的过程中提取对话中关于社区服务设施的细节信息并识别交谈对方的态度;能够询问社区服务设施信息、表达需求和回应询问,培养语言沟通能力。)Step 3 Speaking1. Listen, read and underline.(1)处理教材活动6。How to find other facilities in this community?Listen and repeat the dialogue. 教师介绍对话背景,学生听录音、跟读,并用下画线标出询问社区服务设施的语句。随后请两位学生进行对话展示。(2)学生用下划线标出询问和回应社区设施与服务信息的重点交际语句,教师点名检查并反馈。*(2)拓展活动:教师简要讲解以下重点词组与句型。在此基础上,学生重点操练句型:① 词汇:Laundry, path, Beauty Salon, Hair salon, clinic ② 操练句型:Could you tell me the way to the nearest...?By the way, is there a...in the community? Is there a place where I can...?It's about...minutes’ walk from here.Turn right at the end of this path and you will see it.We don't have one yet, but we have a...in our community.It's just beside the laundry.③ 重点语法讲解:(1)There is a clinic which is open from...to ...every day.(which引导定语从句修饰clinic,解释说明诊所的开门时间是每天从几点到几点,clinic是先行词,which是关系代词,不可省略) (2)Could you tell me the way to the nearest laundry? 您能告诉我最近的洗衣店怎么走吗?“the way to the nearest laundry”在句中作间接宾语。(3)It’s about 5 minutes’ walk from here. 从这里步行大约 5 分钟就到了。“It’s...from...”表示距离,可以与“walk” “ride”等连用。2. Imitate and practice. 处理教材活动7。(ismart平台跟读对话)*(1)铺垫活动:学生合上课本,在教师的引导下回忆活动6的交际句型。(2)双人活动:学生两人一组,通过图片所提供的信息和活动 6 的交际框架,进行替换关键词的模仿对话练习。请学生示范,教师点评。参考答案:A: Excuse me, madam. Could you tell me the way to the coffee shop?B: With pleasure. Go straight until the end of the path, and you will see the coffee shop.A: Great. By the way, is there a fitness center around the corner?B: Of course. when you see the coffee shop, turn right and go straight to the end of that path, and you will see the fitness center. 3. Role play. (1)处理教材活动8,可分两步:假设你现在正处于图中的场景,根据所给图片情境和提示,选择角色,编排对话,完成售房推荐交流。 = 1 \* GB3 ① Discussion:组织学生结合所给情境,围绕以下两个问题,展开讨论:<1>What kind of house does the house buyer need?Pay attention to aspects of community services and facilities.<2>how to show the advantages of the house and the community? = 2 \* GB3 ② 根据所给情景,灵活选用合适的句型与同桌一起编造对话,并在班上表演,必要时可互换销售与顾客的角色进行二轮表演。 = 3 \* GB3 ③全班活动,教师选出部分学生进行展示,然后引导学生互评并给予反馈。参考答案:Seller: Good morning, sir. Can I help you? Buyer: I'd like to buy a house, but I'm not familiar with the community, Could you please introduce it to me?Seller: Sure. We have advanced facilities and first class services. I'm sure you will be very satisfied with our community. Buyer: Sounds great. Can you tell me more details?Seller: No problem.
