    1) nt nly ... but als ... 连接两个并列分句时,nt nly位于句首,则前一分句倒装,后一分句仍然用陈述语序。 e.g. Nt nly did I knw Helen, but als I was her best friend. 2) nly所修饰的副词、介词短语或状语从句位于句首时要倒装。 e.g. Only in this way was Jack able t make himself understd.     限制性定语从句的注意事项
    2. 关系代词作动词的间接宾语时,用t/fr。无关系代词时,也要用t/fr。 e.g. Wh is the girl that he gave the flwer t? The lady I wrte the pem fr was my sister.
    3. 正式英语中,介词可放从句之首,whm/which 之前。注意介词不能放wh/that前。 e.g. This is the great writer t whm ur teacher was referring. He asked a questin t which there was n answer.
    4. 定语从句的谓语如果是以介词结尾的短语动词,介词不能移至从句之首。 e.g. He received the email he was lking frward t.
    关系代词whm 或which 在定语从句中作介词宾语时,介词可放在后面,也可提前构成介词+关系代词whm (先行词指人)/ which (先行词指物) 引导定语从句。注意:介词不可放wh/that前。e.g. Mary is the girl whm I brrwed a bk frm. = Mary is the girl frm whm I brrwed a bk.
