一、教材分析
Ask and answer板块以两个孩子讨论Steven的家庭照片为情景,以问答的形式呈现功能句型“Who's…mother/ …? His/Her mother/ … is …”同时学习物主代词his。Read and say板块为一篇介绍家庭成员和职业的短文,进一步巩固所学语言,在阅读中学习单词welcome和句型"She likes her pupils."
二、教学目标
1.知识目标。
(1)能听、说、认读单词:his, welcome, like, hero
(2)能听懂、会说主要句型:Who's ... mother/…? His/ Her mother/…is…
(3)能听、说、认读句型:She likes her pupils.
2.能力目标。
(1)能在图片的帮助下或在情境中运用句型“Who's…mother/ …? His/Her mother/ … is …”讨论家庭成员的姓名,并能听懂别人的介绍。
(2)能读懂短文内容,理解短文的意思并按意群正确朗读。
(3)能模仿短文运用句型“This is my... He/She is ... He/She is a... He/She likes ...”简单介绍家人的职业、姓名、相貌等。
3.情感态度、文化意识、学习策略。
(1)培养爱家、关爱家庭成员的情感。
(2)培养学生乐于运用英语进行交流和表达的能力。
三、教学重难点
1.教学重点:运用句型"Who's... father/…?His/ Her father/ ... is...”讨论家庭成员。
2.教学难点:能在实际情境中运用功能句型"This is my... He/ She is ... He/ She is a..."简单介绍家庭成员的姓名、职业、相貌等。四、教学准备
1.教师准备:家庭成员的照片或图片、单词卡、教学挂图、多媒体课件、配套音响。
2.学生准备:家庭成员的照片或图片等。
五、教学流程设计[来源:ZXXK]
1.热身活动。
(1)歌曲热身。
师生齐唱歌曲“Where is Mummy?”复习有关家庭成员的单词。
(2)游戏:Sharp Eyes(火眼金睛)。
教师快速出不有关家庭成员的图片和单词,学生快速抢说、抢读。
(3)学生出示自己的家庭照片并介绍成员“Hello! I'm...This is my..."
2.新知呈现与操练。
(1)教师出示教学挂图,与学生一起讨论:“Look at Lily and John. They are talking. What are they talking about? Yes,they are talking about Steven's family.”
(2)教师出示T Steven家庭照片,指着Steven说:"Do you remember who he is? Yes, he is Steven.”然后指着一张女子照片说:"Who is she? She is Mrs Smith. She is Steven's mother.”然后问:"Who's Steven's mother”引导学生回答:"Steven's mother is Mrs Smith. His mother is Mrs Smith.”
(3) 出示单词his并教读,板书并教读句型“Who's Steven's mother? His mother is Mrs Smith.”引导学生明白“Steven's mother = his mother" 。
(4)教师请一名学生示范问答,教师提问,学生回答,然后两人交换问答角色。最后在全班范围内两人一组进行问答练习。
(5)教师播放录音,让学生看课本听一听、读一读,然后小组内练习,最后进行朗读展示。
(6)游戏:Who has a good memory? (谁的记忆力强?)让学生合上书,教师提问“Who's Steven's mother/…?”或“Who's his mother/…”看谁能快速说出“His mother/ ... is...”然后进行小组对抗赛。[来源:ZXXK]
(7)教师出示Read and say板块教学,引导学生讨论:“Look, this is Tom. He is introducing a family photo. Look at the photo. Can you guess who they are? What's his/ her jobs”引导学生猜测说“Maybe this is Tom's father/mother. He/ She is a…”
(8)让学生快速阅读文本,回答问题“Whose family is this? How do you know”教师出示单词卡welcome并教读。
(9)学生再次细读文本,完成以下表格。

(10)通过讨论妈妈的职业,引人单词like和her的教学,出示单词卡并教读,板书句型并教读“She likes her pupils."
(11)教师播放录音,让学生听并模仿,然后学生自读并展示。
3.巩固拓展。
(1)传话游戏。
教师将写有本课所学句型的纸条给每排的第1名学生看,让其记住纸条上的内容。然后教师说“开始”,该生将纸条内容悄悄传话给第2名学生,第2名传给第3名,以此类推,最后一名学生听到传话后,快速起立并说出纸条内容,又快又准的一排获胜。
(2)家庭秀。
教师随机出示一位学生带来的家庭照片,先让该生逐一介绍自己的家庭成员,然后教师向其他学生提问“Who's... mother/…?His/ Her mother/ ... is…”该活动也可以以小组对抗赛的形式进行。
(3)仿说活动。
教师引导学生说:"Tom likes his family.What about your family? Can you introduce your family like Tom?”先让学生自己在小组内介绍,然后再选几名学生到讲台前向全体同学介绍。
(4)做My Family的主题展板。
学生依据自己家的实际情况,将家庭成员的照片或图片贴在展板上,并在照片下面贴上句子“This is my... He/ She is... He/ She is a...”完成展板内容,然后分小组介绍各自家庭。
4.总结:教师引导学生梳理、回顾本课学习的内容:"What have we learned today?"让学生自己总结本节课的收获。

1.听录音,朗读短文若干遍
2.制作自己的Family Tree并介绍。
