2021学年Unit 5 Height and Weight公开课教学设计及反思
展开一、内容分析
本单元以测量身高、体重为主要话题,引出形容词的比较级、最高级这一语法现象。通过课本中设计的几部分不同层次的活动,使学生逐步掌握本单元的主要功能句型,并能在真实情景中初步运用。通过练习,进一步巩固形容词的比较级、最高级的形式变化规律。
本课时为第二课时,学生在第一课时中主要学习了课文部分,在课文中初步接触到了询问身高、体重的句型及形容词比较级和最高级;而本课时的重点则放在帮助学生灵活运用所学语言,掌握形容词比较级、最高级的变化形式,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
二、学情分析
经过了三年半英语的学习,六年级学生的英语水平已经有了一定的基础,但是随着知识难度的增加,学生的两极分化也越来越显现,因此就更要求教师在设计教学环节上要有创新,依然要把学生的学习兴趣放在首位。而本课时涉及到的一些内容,如形容词,学生在四年级的时候就已经接触过,虽然没有接触到比较级和最高级,但是对于相对简单一些的形容词,学生掌握起来还是比较容易的,这样在本节课的学习中,教师通过前面单词的铺垫很容易带到今天新知识的学习之中。
三、设计思路
以Ann、Ken带Mcky去twn center为主线。以Lk and Say为依托,通过学生复习故事方式导入新课,既复习了旧知识,又很自然的为新课做好了铺垫。让学生在很轻松的学习氛围中进入状态,而在此过程中让学生动脑思考,行动参与,一下子拉近了和老师的距离,使他们很轻松地参与到课堂教学中。
在随后的教学中,在各种情景中,引入learn t say的形容词,学生感知体验比较级和最高级,再通过布置任务,让学生调查同学的身高、体重: “Hw much d yu weigh? Hw tall are yu?”通过表格对比,由组长或其他同学综合语言转述小组情况。 通过小组合作学习的方法,让学生在小组中体验互助学习的快乐,也使学生在小组学习中锻炼自己的表达能力。然后利用歌曲中的图片,引导学生在PPT帮助下,对比图片,运用比较级和最高级,接着利用图表直观地呈现形容词的比较级、最高级的构成。最后由学生发现、归纳、总结,体现学生为中心的教学原则。
四、教学目标
(一)能够在实际情境中询问他人有关身高、体重的问题;
(二)能够比较人物的身高、体重;
(三)能够掌握并运用以下形容词big, small, shrt, lng,ld, yung, heavy , thin 的比较级和最高级;对人或事物外形比较;
(四)在学习中对形容词比较级和最高级的变化规则有初步的了解;
(五)能够将所学到的形容词的比较级和最高级在日常生活中进行正确的表述。
五、教学重难点
(一)教学重点:
1. 能够用“Hw much d yu weigh?”“Hw tall are yu?”询问某人的身高和体重;
2. 对形容词的比较级和最高级规则、不规则的变化的了解;
3. 能够在一定语境中灵活运用比较级和最高级进行表达。
(二)教学难点:
形容词比较级和最高级不规则变化的认识与掌握。

学生学习的重点涉及了比较级、最高级这一语法现象,我在前面的教学铺垫中让学生初步理解并使用,学生很好地感知理解了这两个概念。课前创设了情景,了解师生信息,师生互问答;之后串联情景,将各个板块自然衔接。
考虑到借班的六年级学生害羞,思维不是很活跃,我设计时预设了可能会出现的问题,于是为学生提供了足够的语言支撑点,例如表格和结尾的Let’s talk.
有的环节问答时间过于拖长了,导致后面的Let’s talk环节有点赶。而且总结形容词比较级和最高级的规律稍显仓促。
4.板书设计应该图片搭配,这样便于学生理解。而且最高级的句型应该及时上黑板。
