    教学设计
    In the grammar sectin, the exercises f sentence structures will help the students t review the passive vice f the present cntinuus tense. Besides, describing what’s happening in the pictures further strengthens students' understanding and applicatin f this grammatical item.
    The vcabulary learning mainly fcuses n expressins abut Chinese art frms. A reading passage related t a Chinese art festival will teach students hw t express pinins abut traditinal artwrks. In additin, students will develp their listening ability by listening t the cnversatin. At the same time, thrugh the cmprehensive training f skills in real cntext, students can deepen their understanding f unit tpics and imprve the ability f cmprehensive language use.
    1. Guide the students t grasp the structure and usages f the present cntinuus passive s that students can use the tense accrding t the cntext.
    2. Guide the students t increase their vcabulary abut Chinese art frms and learn t intrduce traditinal Chinese art frms.
    3. Help the students develp their listening ability. In listening, the students are expected t understand the main idea f the listening material and crrectly identify the speakers’ different pinins twards cntemprary artwrks.
    4. Lead the students t intrduce famus Chinese art frms and enhance the cnfidence f Chinese culture.
    1. Guide the students t crrectly use the present cntinuus passive in the real cntext.
    2. Lead the students t talk abut famus Chinese art frms and share their pinins n different art frms with the class.
    3. Help the students develp the listening ability t get the main idea f the cnversatin.
    Step 1 Review the present cntinuus passive
    Activity 1 Guide the students t discver and summarize the rules fr the use f passive structure f the present cntinuus tense.
    1. Review the definitin and the structure f the present cntinuus tense.
    2. Ask the students t read the example sentences, pay attentin t the bld part and understand the meaning f the bld part.
    3. Cmpare the passive frm with the active frm f the present cntinuus tense and skillfully transfrm the tw structures.
    Step 2 Practice
    Activity 2 Rewrite the underlined parts using the passive structure.

    If time permits, ask the students t talk abut hw Jill and Andrew express their pinins twards cntemprary artwrks.
    Step 6 Language appreciatin
    1. What caught my attentin first was a 15th -century Qinghua bwl in a breathtaking exhibitin f Chinese prcelain.
