T: In the last unit, we talked about animals. Do you remember them? Who Can say out their names? And write down their names in English on the Bb.

Step 2 Presentation
T: And I like birds best because most of them are very beautiful and are very friendly to us.And there are many different kinds of birds in the world. Here are some of their pictures. Can you tell me their names?

T: Teach the students the names of different parts of birds.
If you want to watch birds ,you can go to Zhanglong.

2. Play a game : reading and guessing (guess what bird it is.)

Step 2 Introduce the uses of to-infinitives for purpose
We can use to-infinitives to express purpose.
e.g. I often go to the market to watch birds.
Now the Chinese government has made laws to prevent all these things.
We can also use in order to to express purposes. This is more formal than to-infinitives.
e.g. Some people want to make the wetlands smaller in order to have more space for farms and buildings.
Take a notebook with you in order to write down what you see.

We can use some verbs in this structure with infinitives without to.
