Jules Verne (1828-1905), a French nvelist, was called the “Father f Science Fictin”. He wrte a widely ppular series f science fictins, including Jurney t the Center f the Earth (1864) 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1870), and Arund the Wrld in Eighty Days (1873).
Scan the first tw paragraphs and lk fr clues that tell the setting.
