The topic of this lesson is about talking about one’s abilities. It is a conversation about choosing one’s favorite clubs. The main task of this lesson is to train the students’ listening and speaking abilities.

本模块以“询问和谈论彼此能力”为话题，共有三个单元。本节课是第一单元的第一节课，本课的主要内容是以对话的形式谈论并选择自己喜欢的俱乐部。本课重点强调学生的听力技巧训练，以及语言输出能力的培养，这也是本单元最主要的学习任务。

Students in Grade 7 are interested in such a topic, and they have mastered some basic words and some simple sentence patterns. They are active and eager to express themselves. The students are encouraged to learn to listen and speak through various activities.

七年级的学生已掌握一些基本词汇和简单语法，并能用简单的句型进行交流，经过上半学期的英语学习，学生有较多的小组合作经验，思维活跃，善于表达自己。但听力和口语方面较薄弱，在课堂的活动中，教师需设计不同的任务，逐步地引导学生学会听和说。

在本课的实际教学中，比较顺利地完成了本课的各项教学内容，根据课标中的理念并结合学生的实际情况和接受水平，我对教材安排的活动和内容进行了适当的增减取舍，我利用了丰富的教学资源，添加了更接近学生学习生活的材料，用学生熟悉的事物来激发学生的兴趣和主动性。尽量让学生通过自主学习和小组学习的模式，完成学习任务，使每一个学生都能有所收获，在操练过程中，及时发现问题，及时纠正错误。在进行听力训练时，我设置了有层次，有梯度的听力活动，这些活动由易到难，让学生逐步适应，增强信心，提高兴趣。口语方面，我适当布置任务并创设情境，使学生在练习过程中真正掌握所学知识和语言技能。

教学过程中出现的不足：在整个教学过程中，有个别环节还需要我在今后的教学中进一步完善。
