    1.Knowledge objective

    Students can listen, speak, and read the vocabulary: uncle, cousin, aunt,cute, tall, short.

    Students can listen, speak, and read the sentence: This is..., Hes/Shes...., Is this...? Yes./No.

    2.Ability objective

    Students can learn to use the words and sentences to introduce and describe the family members.

    Students can make dialogues by using these words and sentences.

    3.Emotional objective

    Students can learn to care for the family members and love them.

    教学重点

    1.Students can listen, speak, and read the vocabulary :uncle, cousin, aunt,cute, tall, short.

    2.Students can listen, speak, and read the sentence: This is..., Hes/Shes...., Is this...? Yes./No.

    教学难点

    Students can use the words and sentences to communicate with others properly.

    教学准备

    Teacher preparation: multimedia courseware, textbook recordings

    Student Preparation: Pre-class preparation(paper, crayons)

    教学过程

    1.Warm-up and lead-in

    Review the sentences and words.

    T: Good morning, boys and girls.

    Ss:Good morning, Miss Shen.

    T: Oh, who is she? Is he Mr Li?

    Ss: No, he is Mr Wang.

    T: Is she Mrs Wang?

    Ss: Yes.

    T: Is this Wang Bing?

    Ss: Yes.

    T: Can you introduce them to us? We can useThis is .../Hes/Shes...

     

    2.Presentation and practice

    T: Now look at the picture on the screen and talk about them.

      Its a family tree. Can you read the words?

    grandpa     grandma    

    dad   mum      uncle  aunt

    me        cousin

    Ss: Grandpa, grandma, dad, mum, uncle, aunt, cousin.

    T:If you are the girl, how can you describe your family members to me? We can follow the examples. We can say Hes my dad. Hes tall. Would you like to have a try?

    Ss: Yes!

    S1: Shes my aunt. Shes cute.

    S2: Hes my uncle. Hes tall.

    T: We can also use This is...

    S3: This is my mum.

    S4: This is my grandpa.

    ...

    T: Yes, we all do good jobs. Youre so creative. Wonderful!

     

    T: Now take out your crayons and paper. Pleasure draw a picture of your family and introduce them to your partners.

    T: Can you show me your pictures?

    T: Wow! So lovely and warm families. Who can describe your members to us? Have a try.

    S1: This is my mum. This my dad. This is my sister. Shes cute. This is me.

    T: Good! Thank you for sharing them with us.

    S2: Shes my grandma. Hes my grandpa. Hes my dad. Shes my mum.

    T: Do you love them?

    S2: Yes.

    T: Do you like your mum and dad?

    Ss: Yes.

    T: Do you like your grandpa and grandma?

    Ss: Yes.

    T: Do you like your aunt and uncle?

    Ss: Yes.

    T: Yes, we all like our family members. We should love our family members. Now lets sing a song together- This is my uncle.

    (1)Listen and follow.

    (2)Sing together.

    (3)Sing in groups.

    3.Production

    (1)Read the words

    (2)make sentences.

    (3)Finish the exercises.

    4.Summary

    (1)Make a summary of the words:

    Family members: uncle, cousin, aunt, grandpa, grandma, mum, dad

    Descriptive adjective : cute, tall, short

    (2)Make a summary of the sentences:

    This is...

    Hes/Shes...

    Is this...? Yes./No.

    5.Homework

    (1)Read the words and the textbook.

    (2)Finish the exercise.

    教学反思

      This class,we combine listening, speaking, reading and writing together. We ask all the students to take an active part in the speaking and singing. The pupils like drawing and singing . So we encourage them to draw what they want to show. W neednt to tell them which color to use or pattern to follow, just do it as they like. Beautiful songs make the class more colourful and interesting. Students learn to feel the love and care for the family members.
