Step 1 Revision

According what we have learnt before, translate the phrases into English.

Step 2 Presentation

（1）        New words.

Teach new words by pronouncing, pay attention to the vowels.

（2）        Grammmar : the functions of can

Function1:

Review the functions of “can” by reading one sentence,

Can you can a can as a canner can a can?

In the past,we use “can”to express abilities.

Fountion 2:

     阅读下列句子，观察问句的用法及回答。   

Read these sentences and tell me the features. Then Ask some of the students to tell me the features.

Finally, including the answers.In this unit,we use “can” to make polite requests and ask for permissions.

Make polite requests:  Could I/we do sth?

Ask for permissions:  Could you（please）+ do sth?

Step 4 Consolidation
