Analysis of the Teaching Material : Lesson3 of unit 3 , New Start English , Book 10 . This unit is about cities. Students already knew many places in the city and how to describe the locations .Through using many interesting verb phrases , students can introduce their cities .
Analysis of students : The students are from Grade 4 .They are active ,curious and interested in new things . After learning 4 years English , they have some basic English background knowledge, so I should focus on communicating with them , providing them the chance of using English .
Teaching Aims:
1.Able to understand the passage .
2. Able to read this passage fluently.
3. Able to retell the passage.
4. Able to introduce their own cities.
Key points and difficult points :
To make sure students can read and retell the passage fluently .
To lead students to design their own cities .
To help the students introduce their cities .
Teaching methods: Total physical response , communicational ,audio-visual
instruction , Task-based and Situational method .
Learning methods : associative, autonomous , imitative ,cooperative and researched learning method .

- 板书变化不大,均已PPT展示,未给学生正确书写关键词和句子。
- 小组合作准备和展示时间过于匆忙。
- 这篇文章对学生词形辨别能力要求较高,对学困生关注不够到位。
