【拓展】(1)s ...结构中的s为副词,后接形容词或副词,表示程度;such ...结构中的such为形容词,后接名词,名词前可有形容词作修饰语,若名词前有many,much,few,little等表示数量多少的词修饰时,不用such,而用s。如:There was s much nise utside that we culdn't hear the teacher clearly.外面有如此多的噪音,以至于我们没听清老师所讲的话。
(2)当that前是可数名词单数且该名词前面有形容词修饰时,s ...与such ...引导的结果状语从句可以相互转换,即s+形容词+a/an+可数名词单数+that从句=such+a/an+形容词+可数名词单数+that从句。如:She is s gd a teacher that we all lve her.=She is such a gd teacher that we all lve her.她是一位好老师,我们都爱她。
(3)引导目的状语从句时,s that+从句=in rder that+从句=s as t d sth./in rder t d sth.。如:He spends mre time learning English s that/in rder that he can make greater prgress.=He spends mre time learning English s as t/in rder t make greater prgress.他花更多时间学习英语,以便能取得更大的进步。
