一、重点词汇
1.ag adv.以前
表示“在现在以前”,以现在为基准,与一般过去时连用,不可单独作状语。
【拓展】与befre的用法辨析:
befre表示“在过去以前”,以过去为基准,常与完成时或一般过去时连用,可单独作状语。
2.surprise n.惊奇;惊讶
v.使吃惊
作名词时的常用短语有:
get a surprise 吃惊
give sb. a surprise 给某人一个惊喜

3.start v.开始;着手
其同义词为begin。也可作名词,表示“开始;开端”。

【拓展】与put相关的短语:

在句中作状语。类似短语:day and night 日日夜夜;here and there 到处。
