    T: Wh’s n duty tday? Intrduce the weather t us tday. And describe what clthes yur classmates are wearing.

    T: Yu like her very much, yes? Me, t! Wuld yu like t talk t her? We’ve learned hw t interview smene. Imagine yu’ve interviewed Wang Xiaya. And then yu are asked t intrduce her t yur class. D yu knw what we want t knw abut her?
    Guide the Ss t knw the way f intrducing smene with sme questins:
    1) Where des she live? (She wrks in CCTV, s she lives in Beijing.)
    2) What des she d? (She a gd hstess f “Quiz Shw” n TV.)
    3) What is she gd at? (She is gd at hsting.)
    4) Hw is she ding her wrk? (She wrks very well. Others even learn frm her and her prgram)
    5) Hw d yu like her? (She always smiles and I like her very much.)
    Step 2: key pint: intrduce hw t use Mr./Mrs./Ms crrectly

    T: Lk at this pht, please. It’s a pht f the famus hst f Li Yng. Wh is the
    lady besides him? Yes, his wife. And this little girl is their daughter. I can call Li Yng “Mr. Li”. D yu knw what we can call his wife? Right! “Mrs. Li”. S what abut his daughter?
    (Let the Ss try t guess. Maybe sme f them knw the answer. Then guide them t be aware f the differences f the three wrds.)
    T: Gd, s let’s summarize the usage f the three wrds: We use “Mr.” befre his family name. N matter he is married r nt. But we nly call a married wman “Mrs.” Right? Then what abut a girl, an unmarried ne? Yes. Very gd. We call a girl “Miss”. We can call a lady “Ms.x” if we dn’t knw whether she is married r nt.
    Step 3: Discussin f questins in “Think Abut It!”
    T: There are sme questins fr us t discuss n tp f Page 8. Read them and think abut it. Yu can discuss with yu partners. Then take turns t speak fr a intrductin.
    Step 4: Listen and useful infrmatin
    T: Li Ming will talk n the tape. He als intrduced a teacher, Ms. Liu. Listen fr the first time and get the answer t this questin: Hw lng has Ms. Liu lived in Shijiazhuang? (Fr tw years)
    Step 5: Further study f the text
    T: Read the text by yurselves, please, and try t get the infrmatin abut Ms. Liu as much as pssible. Ask me what yu can’t understand.
    Step 6: Discussin and understanding
    Guide the Ss t discuss the text abut Ms. Liu. Check them whether they can understand the text well. The fllwing detailed questins are available:
