1. Warm-up
Chse tw children t cme t the frnt f the class. Have ne child hld up a flashcard and ask, “What are these?” and the ther child answer, “They’re …” After they have presented three cards, chse tw mre children and repeat the prcedure.
Pin up ne f the six flashcards. Mve away and pint t the flashcard. Say, “What are thse?” Elicit the crrect answer.
2. Plurals
Hld up the beans flashcard. Ask, “What are these?” Make sure the children say the final /s/ in They’re beans.
Explain t the children that, when we talk abut mre than ne thing, we usually add an s at the end f the wrd.
Draw ne tmat and ne mushrm n the bard. Pint t the tmat and have the children say tmat. Then hld up the flashcard and have them say tmates, emphasizing the final /s/ sund.
Repeat the prcedure fr mushrm/s/.
3. Wrds t learn
Display yur cpy f the page. Play the tape nce. Pint t the picture f each vegetable as it is named.
Play the tape again. Have the children tuch the crrect picture as they hear each vegetable’s name.
Withut the tape , read the wrds tgether. Encurage the children t tuch each wrd as they say it.
Read the names again, and this time have the children repeat the wrds
4. Listen t this
Talk abut the pictures first.
Play the tape, pausing after each pair f sentences. Have them repeat Ken’s questin, then pint t the crrect vegetables.
5. Teach the sng
Use the flashcards f the vcabulary being reviewed.
Practice the structures “Are these …? Yes, they are. / N, it isn’t.” with the flashcards.
These new structures will prepare the children fr the sng.
Tell the children they are ging t learn anther sng. Read the wrds alud t the children , pinting t each wrd as yu d s.
Play the sng. Encurage the children t sing alng and t clap in time.
6. Set hmewrk
Tell the children yu want them t sing the sng t their families.
Read the new wrds by themselves。
7. 教学后记:听力部分学生们能够迅速找出答案,但对于单词朗读这一部分同学们还是有些困难,认为单词较长,而且比较难读。应多加强单词阅读次数。
