学习目标：学会使用and but , and  or 将意思连接起来

and ,but 和or 都是并列连词，它们在句子中 不 独立担任句子成分而只起连接词与词，短语与短语以及句与句的作用。并列连词用来连接平行的词、词组和分句。如：and, but, or,  so, therefore, yet, however, for,  as well as, both…and, (and)then等等

二、课堂合作 探究

or与and比较：

1) 并列结构中，or通常用于否定句，and用于肯定句。

2) 但有时and 也可用于否定句。请注意其不同特点：
There is no air or water in the moon.
There is no air and no water on the moon.

在否定中并列结构用or 连接，但含有两个否定词的句子实际被看作是肯定结构，因此要用and。

3）or 的意思还有或者的 意思 ，表示 一种选择关系

Do you like tea or coffee? Or 连接两个主语时，谓语动词的 单复数形式与 or后面的 主语 保持一致。 Either you or I am wrong.

but 的基本用法及考点 

1. but 表示转折关系，强调所引出的内容与前面的内容相对或相反。例如： 

My name is Robert， but most of my friends call me Bob for short. 

　  　Someone called me up in the middle of the night， but they hung up before I could answer the phone.
