1. Please have a free talk abut giant pandas. Try t say smething abut their appearance, ability, character, fd and the danger they meet.
2.Get the students talk abut sme characteristics f tigers and wlves. (If they have any difficulties, they can say that in Chinese)
1.Shw a picture f a tiger. D yu knw anything abut tigers? (教学生词stripe, medicine)
Shw a picture f a wlf. (wlf的复数wlves)
Can yu say smething abut wlves? They have gd eyesight, hearing and smell.They eat insects, snails and vegetables. They are in danger because they have nwhere t live. Because f the lss f living areas, their number is getting smaller and smaller. (教生词 hearing, smell, snails, lss)
2 Ask Ss t study the tw fact files n page 68 in pairs. Check the meaning f sme f the wrds.
1. Help Ss fcus n the general cntext by asking general questins they may be able t answer while listening fr the first time. Write them n the Bb: * What is the name f the largest living cat?
* What is Millie’s favurite animal?
2.Play the tape. Students listen carefully fr keywrds t answer the questins.
3. Play the tape again and ask students t find ut the missing facts in the fact sheets.
