Teaching Steps:
Step 1 Warming up.
1. Shw the students sme f pictures and phts n the screen.
2. Encurage the Ss t speak ut the kinds f mvies.
Step 2 Listen and number the wrds as yu hear them.
1. Read the wrds alud with the Ss and check if they understand the meaning.
2. Get them t predict the rder f events they might hear abut.
3. Play the recrding. Tell the students t check their predictins and write numbers 1-5 in the bxes, accrding t what they hear.
Step 3 Listen again and number the pictures.
1. Read the simple descriptins f the pictures with the students.
2. Explain the names in the descriptins if necessary.
3. Repeat the descriptins, especially the names, chrally fr the Ss’ prnunciatin.
4. Play the recrding and ask the Ss t listen fr the descriptins.
5. Play the recrding again fr them t number the pictures and check answers in pairs r grups.
6. Play the recrding nce mre fr the Ss t check and then elicit their answers in rder.
Step 4 Listen and read.
Ask the Ss if they knw abut the stry f Alice’s Adventures in Wnderland. If they d, elicit what they have understd and use it t teach the key vcabulary. If they dn’t, give a brief intrductin t the stry.
Play the recrding. Tell the Ss t read the cnversatin as they listen.
Ask the Ss t lk at the ntes and guess the meaning infrmatin.
Ask them t read the cnversatin again and underline the key infrmatin t help them cmplete the ntes.
Elicit the answers in full sentences frm the whle class.
Step 5 Cmplete the sentences with the wrds in the bx (Activity4).
Lk at the wrds in the bx with the class. Make sure the Ss are clear abut the meaning.
Ask the students t read the sentences n their wn and guess what the missing wrds are.
Ask the Ss t cmplete the sentences individually and check their answers in pairs.
Step 6 Listen and underline the wrds the speaker stresses.
Ask the Ss t read the cnversatins and predict the stress.
Play the recrding and pause fr the Ss t repeat fr prnunciatin and stress.
Play the recrding again and tell the Ss t listen and repeat. Then ask them t understand the stressed wrds.
Play the recrding nce mre. Elicit the stress and let the Ss check whether their predictin was crrect.
Step 7 Wrk in pairs. D an interview.
Read the instructins and mdel cnversatin with class. Make sure they are clear abut what they’re ging t d.
Tell the Ss t d an interview in pairs after the example and say what they were really ding then.

Step 8 Hmewrk.
1. Recite the wrds f Unit 1.
2. Finish the exercises f Unit 1 in the exercise bk.
