现在完成时(Ⅲ)
某些动词的现在完成时可表示过去某一时间开始并一直延续到现在的动作或状态,可以和表示延续性的时间状语连用,如:for+一段时间,since+时间点/从句。表示持续动作或状态的动词多用延续性动词。
现在完成时若表示动作或状态,从过去某时开始,一直延续至今,可能刚刚结束,也可能继续下去,后面常与for,since引导的时间状语连用,他们通常用how long提问,谓语动词用延续性动词,如为为延续性动词,可以把它转化为延续性动词。

since 和 for用法区别:
for+时间段,时间段可以是具体的数字,如for three years,for a month,也可以是泛指的时间,如a long time,several days, some time(一段时间)
Since+表示过去的时间短语或句子
①since+表示过去时间的词,表示从过去某时开始的动作或状态一直持续到现在,此时since是介词,如since three years ago 自从三年前以来,since two months ago自从2个月前以来
since then 自那时以来,since 2005 从2005年以来到现在
②since+句子(过去时),此过去时的句子相当于since+表示过去的时间,此时since是连词。如We have known each other since we were children.当我们还是孩子的时候,我们就认识了。
We have lived here since we moved here in 2001.我们自从2001年搬到这里来后,就一直住在这里。

It is/has been ten years since we left.

no longer的用法

{发现}no longer为副词,表示时间上的“不再,再也不”,表示不再继续或再现过去某一时刻发生或存在而一直延续的动作或状态,常用于过去时、现在时或将来时的句子中。通常放在行为动词之前,be动词、助动词或情态动词之后,有时也可位于句末或句首,相当于not......any longer.
No longer与no more同义,no more相当于not ......any more,表示再也不重复过去反复发生的动作,二者的区别为:
1. 修饰行为动词时,no longer需置于行为动词之前,而no more则置于行为动词之后。
2. no longer用来修饰延续性动词,而no more则用来修饰表示具体动作的瞬间性动词。
