   Have you ever seen something cute (可爱），like a baby dog or a baby rabbit, and just wanted to hug it to pieces? I'm prelly sure you have. When you think about it, (hat urge is kind of peculiar, maybe even a little dangerous.

     However it turns out the “I want to hug you and squeeze you to death" urge you might feel when you set something cute is totally normal. A study done at Yale University recently explored this phenomenon and the Findings were published in Psychological Science. The experiment studied what happened when people were presented with “cute stimuli (刺激).

   The study found that people who have cxtremely positive reactions to cute babies also “displayed stronger aggressive expressions”. I know that sounds kind of strange, but what they’re saying is that people who were really into the babies wanted to press their cheeks or maybe squeeze their slightly fat legs‘ Totally normal. Keep in mind that we’re talking about an innocent little squeeze, not an urge to actually do any harm.

    But why does it happen? Oriana Aragon, a scientist, says it’s common for some people who experience a strong emotion to immediately express their feelings in a way that seems to be opposite to what they're feeling. Like crying when you’re happy or laughing when you're sad. The same thing is going on when you want to squeeze that baby rabbit. It serves an actual biological function. According to the study, it helps reestablish your cmolional equilibrium. In other words，it keeps your emotions (情感)balanced.

     Also, if you're taking care of a baby or baby animal, your squeezing urge actually helps you be a belter caretaker. Aragon says, “Because they may help people to regain control over their strong emotions, these expressions help the caretaker to care for an animal or baby appropriately.

    There has been a lot of publicity recently surrounding 5G, the next generation of wireless technology. But what is this technology and how might it change our lives?

    5G stands for fifth generation, meaning the next step in the progression of technology to replace the current 4G system. Earlier “G”systems were designed to improve mobile communication operations. Each new technology brought major improvements in speed and greatly increased network capacity (容量).
