一年中的十二个月
There are twelve mnths in a year. January is the first mnth f the year.
一年有十二个月，January（一月）是一年中的第一个月。
序数词表示顺序：first（第一）、secnd（第二）、third（第三）、furth（第四）……twelfth（第十二）。
月份名称的首字母必须大写。
元旦与春节
New Year's Day is in January.（元旦在一月。）
The Spring Festival is usually in January r February.（春节通常在一月或二月。）
注意：Spring Festival 前要加定冠词 the，因为它是独一无二的节日名称。
We have a happy hliday. We g back t ur hmetwn. We enjy the festival at hme. （我们度过一个愉快的假期，我们回到家乡，在家享受节日。）
三月到六月的节日
Tree Planting Day is in March. We plant trees n that day.（植树节在三月，我们在那天植树。）

Children's Day is in June. Many children get presents n that day.（儿童节在六月，许多孩子在那天收到礼物。）
注意：表示在具体的某一天用介词 n，表示在某个月份用介词 in。
九月和十月的节日
Teachers' Day is in September. We say 'thank yu' t ur teachers.（教师节在九月，我们对老师说'谢谢'。）
Natinal Day is in Octber. We watch the flag-raising. We feel prud and excited. We lve ur mtherland.（国庆节在十月，我们观看升国旗，感到自豪和激动，我们热爱我们的祖国。）
注意所有格的写法：Teachers' Day（复数名词的所有格，s后面加'），Children's Day（不规则复数的所有格，加's）。
语音：a 字母组合发 /əʊ/
a 字母组合在单词中发 /əʊ/（字母的本音）。
