      play a rle ( in )①(在…中)发挥作用;(在…中)有影响,其中 rle 用作名词,意为“作用;职能;角色”。同义短语:play a part(in sth)e.g. Schls play an imprtant rle in educatin. 学校在教育中起着重要的作用。
      ②扮演角色e.g. He will play an imprtant rle in the mvie. 他将在这部电影中扮演一个重要的角色。

      while 【连词】①而;然而 表示两种情况的对比。e.g. I like cffee while my sister likes tea. 我喜欢喝咖啡,而我姐姐喜欢喝茶。
      ②与……同时;当……的时候引导时间状语从句,从句谓语动词须用延续性动词。它强调主句的动作是在从句动作发生的过程中发生的,或者主从句的动作几乎同时进行。
      e.g. While we were talking, the teacher camein. 当我们在说话时,老师进来了。e.g. I was ding my hmewrk while my mther was cking. 我妈妈在做饭时,我在做家庭作业。
      Hwever, nt everyne understands their imprtance in nature.然而,并不是每个人都了解它们在自然界中的重要性。
      部分否定 nt与every及含有every的不定代词连用时表示部分否定,意为“并不是每个……都”。e.g. Nt everyne is interested in the mvie. 并不是每个人都对这部电影感兴趣。
      【拓展】① nt 与 all 连用,意为“并不是所有的都;并不都”,表示部分否定。e.g. Nt all the students like English. 并不是所有的学生都喜欢英语。
      ② nt 与 bth 连用,意为“并不是两个都”表示部分否定。e.g. Bth f them are nt gd at dancing.并不是他们两个都擅长跳舞。
      1. -ance 规则:通常加在动词后面 ,构成抽象名词表示行为、状态、性质等 。 e.g. perfrm(v.表演;执行 )→ perfrmance(n.表演;表现 ) appear(v.出现;显得 )→ appearance(n.出现;外貌 )

      3. -ness 规则:通常加在形容词后,构成抽象名词表示形容词所描述的性质、状态。 e.g. happy(adj.幸福的;快乐的 )→ happiness(n.幸福;快乐 ) kind(adj.善良的 )→ kindness(n.善良;仁慈 )
      4. -ity 规则:通常加在形容词后,(部分词需对词尾做适当变化 , 如去掉不发音 -e 等),构成名词,表示具有某种特性。 e.g. active(adj.积极的 )→ activity(n.活动;活跃 ) pssible(adj.可能的 ) → pssibility(n.可能性 )
      disappinted adj.失望的;沮丧的一般不用于进行时。由“disappint (v. 使失望;使破灭) + -ed(后缀)”构成。 be disappinted with/in sb./sth.对某人/事失望 be disappinted at/by sth.对某事失望 be disappinted t d sth.对做某事感到失望

      “失望的;沮丧的”,通常表示人的主观感受。
      “令人失望的;令人沮丧的”,通常表示事物自身具备的性质。
      通常,-ed 形式的形容词表示人的(身体上 或精神上的)状态或人内心的感受,常意为“感 到……的”;而-ing形式的形容词则表示事物的 性质或特征,常意为“令人……的”。
