      THE BRONTE FAMILY

      Yrkshire, England was the setting fr tw great nvels(小说)f the 19th century. These were Charltte Brnte’s Jane Eyre and Emily Brnte’s Wuthering Heights. The yungest sister, Anne, was als a gifted nvelist, and her bks have the same extrardinary quality as her sisters’.
      Their father was Patrick Brnte, brn in Ireland. He mved with his wife, Maria Brnte, and their six small children t Hawrth in Yrkshire in 1820. Sn after, Mrs Brnte and the tw eldest children died, leaving the father t care fr the remaining three girls and a by.
