Text 10
Tday I’d like t share with yu a piece f research ur team has just cmpleted. We’ve discvered the largest knwn field f sea grass, relying n sme unusual partners: tiger sharks. Sea grasses grw in shallw waters near castlines. These sea grass fields are highly valuable — cleaning cean water and prviding fd and shelter fr cuntless sea creatures. Mst imprtantly, they can stre large amunts f carbn, which is key t the fight against glbal warming. Yet little is truly knwn abut their actual size. The ceans are s vast that a thrugh study by diving is simply unrealistic. S we turned t tiger sharks because they swim in and arund sea grass fields mst f the time. We attached cameras t the fins f seven tiger sharks. They carried the cameras ver the seabed fr hurs. Then, the devices came ff and flated back t the surface. We used tracking signals t lcate and pick up the cameras, and gt the vide recrdings.
Our findings are exciting. The wrld’s ttal sea grass fields are abut 40 percent bigger than we nce thught. This prject shws that underwater animals can ffer new assistance in cean explratin.
