In this stry, Mary Lennx, a spiled and selfish 10-year-ld girl ges t live with her uncle, Mr Craven, after her parents pass away. Her uncle has a huge huse, but he is seldm there. Mary spends a lt f time alne and bred. At night she ften hears crying cming frm smewhere.
