the China Grand Canal Museum(中国大运河博物馆)
After learning abut the Grand Canal in a Histry lessn, I wanted t knw mre. S I explred the China Grand Canal Museum website. This new museum in Yangzhu pened its drs t the public in 2021. It tells the 2,500-year stry f China’s “glden waterway”—the wrld’s lngest man - made canal. The building lks like a big bat! On the website, I saw many interesting things: ld maps, small bat mdels and tls peple used lng ag. I culd click t see everything clearly. My favurite part was the “virtual ship”—it felt like I was really standing n an ancient bat! I lved this nline visit! It was fast, easy and free. I learnt a lt. The pictures were very clear, and I didn’t need t wait in line. Technlgy makes learning fun!
