      1. 先判动作类型区分长动作 (持续发生) 和短动作 (瞬间完成),这是选择连词和确定时态的前提。2. 一长一短动作的合并规则when:可引导长动作或短动作,长动作需用过去进行时,短动作需用一般过去时;语序灵活,引导的从句放句首时加逗号,放句尾时不加逗号。while:只能引导长动作,且长动作要用过去进行时,主句放短动作 (一般过去时);不能直接引导短动作,从句放句首时加逗号。
      When/While 合并句子要点
      3. 双长动作的合并规则when/while 均可使用,主从句都必须用过去进行时,突出两个动作同步发生;其中 while 更强调动作的全程同步性。语序规则同上:从句放句首加逗号,放句尾不加逗号。
      4. 通用易错提醒(1) while 不能直接接短动作的一般过去时;(2) 双长动作合并时,不能用一般过去时,必须用过去进行时;(3) 从句放句首时,一定要用逗号和主句隔开。

      (2) beat 作动词,意为“敲;打;(心脏等) 跳动”。He was beating the drum ludly. 他正在用力地敲鼓。The rain beat against the windw. 雨点不停地打在窗户上。Her heart was beating fast with excitement. 她很兴奋,心跳得很快。
