Warm-Up (5 minutes)
Teacher: Gd mrning, bys and girls!
Students: Gd mrning, teacher!
Teacher: Let's start ur class with a fun chant abut fd. Are yu ready?
Students: Yes!
Teacher: (Sings/chants) "Apple, apple, yummy apple. Banana, banana, sweet banana. Orange, range, juicy range. Fd is fun, let's eat mre!"
Intrductin (10 minutes)
Teacher: Bys and girls, please lk at these pictures. Can yu tell me what des Chen Jie like? (Pints t a picture with Chen Jie and a fd item)
Student 1: Chen Jie likes hamburgers.
Teacher: Great jb! Nw, let's lk at these new pictures. Wh are they?
Student 2: They are Jhn's mum, Jhn's brther, Jhn, and this by is Li Dng.
Teacher: Exactly! Nw, lk at the picture and guess what d they like t eat?
Students: (Make guesses)
Vide Presentatin (5 minutes)
Teacher: Let's watch a vide and see what they really like. Ready?
Students: Ready!
(Teacher plays the vide. The vide shws Li Dng, Jhn, Jhn's mum, and Jhn's brther talking abut their favrite fds.)
Listen and Chse (10 minutes)
Teacher: Li Dng says, "I like..." What des he like?
Students: Ndles!
Teacher: Crrect! (Teaches the wrd "ndles" and leads the class in chanting: Ndles, ndles, I like ndles.)
Teacher: Nw, listen carefully. Jhn likes what?
Students: Rice and carrts!
Teacher: Very gd! (Teaches the wrds "rice" and "carrts" and chants: Rice, rice, I like rice. Carrts, carrts, I like carrts.)
Teacher: Hw abut Jhn's brther? What des he like?
Students: Apples and bananas!
Teacher: Perfect! (Teaches the wrds "apples" and "bananas" and chants: Apples, apples, I like apples. Bananas, bananas, I like bananas.)
Listen, Pint, and Repeat (5 minutes)
Teacher: Bys and girls, pen yur bk and shw me yur fingers. Pint t page 20. We'll listen and read tgether.
(Teacher reads the page alud while students fllw alng with their fingers, pinting t each wrd as it's read.)
Rle-Play (10 minutes)
Teacher: Nw, let's rle-play. I'll be Jhn's mum, and I'll say, "I like rice and carrts." Wh wants t be Jhn and say what he likes?
Student 3: (Stands up) I like rice and carrts t!
Teacher: Great! Nw, let's switch. Yu be Jhn's mum, and I'll be smene else.
(Cntinues rle-playing with different students, encuraging them t use the sentence "I like..." with the fd wrds they've learned.)
Sharp Eyes: Wrd Game (5 minutes)
Teacher: Let's play a sharp eyes game. I'll shw yu a flashcard fr just a secnd, and yu have t tell me what fd it is. Ready?
Students: Ready!
(Teacher quickly shws flashcards fr "ndles," "tmates," "rice," "carrts," "apples," and "bananas," and students shut ut the names f the fds.)
Telephne Game (5 minutes)
Teacher: Lastly, let's play the telephne game. I'll whisper a sentence abut a fd t the first student, and they'll whisper it t the next student, and s n. The last student will tell the class what they heard. Ready?
Students: Ready!
(Teacher whispers, "I like ndles and apples," t the first student, and the game cntinues.)
Cnclusin (2 minutes)
Teacher: Well dne, everyne! Yu've learned s much abut fd tday. Remember, it's imprtant t try different fds and find ut what yu like. Have a great day, and see yu tmrrw!
Students: Thank yu, teacher! Gdbye!
