      •能够仿照例句造句,看图描述正在进行的动作

      能够在语境中运用句型What’s he/she ding? He/She is ;What are they ding? They are
      教学过程Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in
      1. Greetings.
      2. Sing a sng “What are yu ding?”
      3. Lead-in.
      Say ut the activities accrding t the pictures. Review the phrases like:play ftball, read a bk, fly kites, eat breakfast...
      Step 2: Presentatin
      1. Learn the phrases.
      T: D yu want t knw Chen Jie’s daily activities?
      Ss: Yes!
      T: Let’s have a lk at Chen Jie’s Day!
      T: What time is it? What's Chen Jie ding?
      Ss: It’s 6 ’clck. She's ding mrning exercises.
      The teacher teaches “ding mrning exercises” while ding actins. Students learn the phrase and practice it by playing the game “magic fingers.”

      T: What time is it? What is Chen Jie ding?
      Ss: It’s 9 ’clck. She is having an English class.
      The teacher teaches “having an English class” while ding actins. Students learn the phrase while ding actins, and then practice it.
      Shw mre pictures abut maths and PE class, learn the plural frm f the sentence: What are they ding? They are having ... class.

      S1: What time is it? What's Chen Jie ding?
      Ss: It’s half past eleven. She's eating lunch.
      Practice the phrase by playing the game “Ludest vice.” Students will read frm lw vice t high vice ne by ne, wh gets the ludest vice will win.

      S1: What time is it? What's Chen Jie ding? Can yu guess?
      Ss: It’s 4 ’clck. She's reading a bk.
      The teacher teaches “reading a bk” and then practice it ne by ne (开火车).

      T: It’s half past seven. Chen Jie is listening t music, t.
      The teacher teaches “listening t music” while ding actins. Students learn the phrase while ding actins, and then practice it by playing the game “scissr, paper, stne.”
      Step 3: Practice
      1.Finish the sentences accrding t the pictures.
      2.Students read after the recrding f “Let’s learn” and pay attentin t the prnunciatin and the intnatin.
      3.Wrk in pairs and practice the dialgue
      S1: It’s What’s Chen Jie ding?
      S2: She is
      4. Say and act. “It’s I am ____.” Accrding t the time f the clck, say ut yur activities with actins.
      2. Lk and say.

      T: Lk at the pictures. Try t talk abut them with the sentence pattern “…is/are ding…”
      S1: Mike is listening t music.
      S2: Zhang Peng is reading a bk.
      S3: Chen Jie and Sarah are eating lunch.
      S4: Wu Binbin and Rbin are running.

      Step 4: Cnslidatin
      1. Play a game: Act and Guess
      T: Let’s play a game: Act and Guess.
      One student des the actin and the ther student asks: “What’s he/she ding?” Whever answers the questin right will get ne pint.
