前文“It’s prcrastinatin. It is a specific frm f delay that is bth unnecessary and vluntary. 引入拖延的话题,介绍其性质,后文“At its heart, prcrastinatin is abut avidance. Rather than the task itself, it’s ften the emtins attached t an activity that cause peple t pause. 指出拖延是由逃避与任务相关的情绪导致的,因此D项“It isn’t caused by the persn’s need t priritize ther tasks r by an unexpected emergency.
前文“Big prjects may bring verpwering feelings which are likely t lead t prcrastinatin. 提到大项目可能会导致拖延,后文“Answering an rdinary email frm wrk, fr example, may bring instant discmfrt, s the urge t escape such negative emtin defeats ne’s duty t cmplete the daily task. 举例具体说明一些日常的小事也会导致拖延,因此F项“Hwever, the threat can als cme frm smething tiny.
前文“Research suggests that prcrastinatin is linked t impatience n a genetic level. It may be a passed-dwn prperty. 提到拖延可能是一种遗传下来的内在特性,后文“Envirnmental factrs are just as imprtant in shaping ur respnse t tasks. 指出外界的环境因素也会影响拖延,因此A项“But that desn’t mean yu’re stuck and that’s wh yu are. 故选A。
前文“Envirnmental factrs are just as imprtant in shaping ur respnse t tasks. Smene wh desn’t usually prcrastinate can d s if they find themselves in a situatin that exhausts their respnding abilities, such as the death f a family member. 指出外界的环境因素也会影响拖延,举例说明人的反应能力被耗尽时会拖延,因此B项“Prcrastinatin becmes an easy and ‘dirty’ way f reactin when yur handling resurces are maxed ut.
