      A strng 7.9 earthquake hit central Myanmar n March 28,2025, causing majr damage in the area. The earthquake was centered near Mandalay, the cuntry’s secnd-largest city. The number f deaths has reached 2,719, with 4,521 peple injured and many mre still missing. Over many years, pressure built up between the plates and finally caused this earthquake.
