prnunce 8 cnsnants - /h/, /r/, /l/, /m/. /n/, /ŋ/, /w/, /j/.

教学重点:
Figure ut the rules in memrizing rdinal numbers and learn hw t tell the difference between rdinal numbers and cardinal numbers.
Express dates in English and be aware f the different ways t tell dates (bth in British English and American English).
2. Imitate the dialgue in the listening material and prnunce 8 cnsnants crrectly.

Leads students t guess what the numbers mean abut the teacher.

Presentatin
Activity 1. Let's learn abut the mnths.
Ask the students t cmplete the wrds n the wrksheet.
Ask the students t divide the 12 mnths int 3 parts - 30 days, 31days and 28/29 days.
Ask the students t have a shrt summary abut 12 mnths. Cnclude the rules f their spellings and abbreviatins.
【设计意图】通过拼写巩固课内所学,通过月份的长短再度引导学生进行有意义的应用复习,通过归纳引导学生找寻拼写的规律和缩写特点方便其记忆。
Activity 2. Let's learn abut the rdinal numbers.
Let students watch rdinal numbers (1st-31st) and find ut the rules.
Ask students t write dwn sme rdinal numbers n their wrksheet.
Lead students t tell the differences between rdinal numbers and cardinal numbers by ding sme exercises.
【设计意图】引导学生自主观察发现序数词的规律,通过思维导图的分类帮助学生明晰其中的规律,方便其快速记忆,再经过随堂练习夯实所学。关于基数词和序数词的区别是学生易错点,教师通过生动且有对比性的例句加深学生印象。
Activity 3. Let's learn hw t read the dates.
Ask students t read the teacher's birthday. Present tw ways t tell dates and highlight the difference.
Ask students t practice by reading the teacher's parents’ birthdays.
【设计意图】回归本课开篇——老师的生日。通过让学生说出老师的生日呈现生日的不同表达,紧跟着让学生用不同方法说出老师父母的生日加以巩固。

Ask students t watch the picture n Page 67 and answers questins.

Ask students t listen and find ut hw peple celebrate birthdays.
Ask students what they think f Helen, Teng Fei and Fu Xing.
【设计意图】通过找出人们不同的庆祝生日方式深入挖掘听力文本,对人物的评价进一步引导学生成为有爱、温暖、关爱他人的人,也为最后的输出活动搭建了内容框架。

Encurage students t think f mre ways t celebrate birthdays.
【设计意图】通过讨论丰富学生有关过生日的词汇储备。

Ask students t pay attentin t the intnatin and linking in the listening material. Draw their attentin t the 8 cnsnants in the material.
Ask them t repeat after the vide. List the key pints in prnuncing these cnsnants. Lead them t read wrds with these cnsnants.
