      Spacesuits help astrnauts in several ways. Spacewalking astrnauts face different temperatures. Arund the earth, cnditins in space can be as cld as arund -156℃. In the sunlight, they can be as ht as 121℃. A spacesuit prtects astrnauts frm thse extreme temperatures.
      Spacesuits als prvide astrnauts with O₂ t breathe while they are in space. They cntain water t drink during spacewalks. They prtect astrnauts frm being hit by a small bject in space. It may nt sund very dangerus, but when even the small bject is mving many times faster than a bullet, it can be very harmful t astrnauts. Spacesuits als prtect astrnauts frm radiatin(辐射) in space. The suits even have parts t prtect astrnauts’ eyes frm the bright sunlight.
      The spacesuit includes several parts. The bdy equipment cvers the astrnaut’s bdy. The arm equipment cvers the arms and cnnects t the glves. The helmet(头盔) and anther equipment are used t prtect the astrnaut’s head while still allwing him r her t see as much as pssible. The lwer equipment cvers the astrnaut’s legs and feet. These parts have different functins. They can d many different things, frm keeping O₂ within the spacesuit t prtecting frm being hit.
      Under the spacesuit, astrnauts wear a set f cling equipment. Tubes(管子) are put int this tight-fitting piece f clthing that cvers the whle bdy except fr the head, hands and feet.
      Water mves thrugh these tubes t keep the astrnaut cl during the spacewalk. On the back f the spacesuit is a backpack. This backpack prvides the O₂ that astrnauts breathe during a spacewalk. It als takes CO₂ away. The backpack als prvides electricity fr the suit. A fan mves the O₂ thrugh the spacesuit and life supprt systems, and a water tank hlds the cling water that mves thrugh the cling device.
