German is the first language I started learning cmpletely n my wn. I dn't remember clearly why I chse this language t learn, but I remember I had n idea hw t learn it. I spent several mnths reading an ld grammar bk fund in my grandmther's bkcase. But I quickly lst heart.

In 2010, my mther - in - law gave me her rather simple but graceful, antique "secretary desk". The desk easily fit int the small rm at the tp f the stairs. I felt s secure, and cnfident when I sat dwn and began each writing sessin.
