      Huang Xuhua , an excellent Chinese scientist, passed away n February 6th, 2025. But his amazing achievements and strng spirit will always be remembered and will guide China’s future.
      Brn in Guangdng Prvince in 1926, Huang saw his cuntry suffer frm freign attacks during his childhd.
      Because f these bad memries and experiences, he decided t study hard and use his knwledge t make his cuntry
      strnger. In the 1950s, China began the challenging task f building nuclear submarines (核潜艇). Huang Xuhua bravely jined this prject. At that time, there wasn’t much advanced technlgy, this task was like climbing a very- high muntain.
      Huang and his team faced many difficulties while keeping the prject a secret. They mustn’t share their wrk with anyne utside their grup, nt even their families. S Huang was away frm hme fr years. As they wrked n designing the submarines, they faced significant prblems. Fr example, building a nuclear reactr (核反应堆) was very difficult, and they culdn’t ask freign experts fr help. Anther majr difficulty was making sure the submarine culd remain stable underwater. After many tests, they fund slutins t these prblems.
      Finally, in the 1970s, China successfully built and tested its first nuclear submarine. This made China ne f the few cuntries that culd d this. Huang didn’t stp there. He cntinued t imprve submarine technlgy and received many awards fr his hard wrk, including the “Medal f the Republic” in 2019.
