wh、whm、whse引导的定
语从句
【名师点津】
(1)wh或whm在引导限制性定语从句时常可用that替换。作主语时,wh/that不可省略;作宾语时,whm/wh/that可以省略,但跟在介词后面作宾语时,关系代词不可省略。

whse表示所属关系,一般指人,也可指物,在从句中作定语。其指物时相当于f which,指人时相当于f whm。

as、which引导的定语从句

介词+关系代词
1.介词和关系代词的确定
若介词放在关系代词之前,关系代词指人时用whm,指物时用which。另外,whse也可以放在介词后,即“介词+whse+名词”结构。
2.“f +关系代词”引导的定语从句
在sme、any、few、little、nne、all、bth、neither、many、mst、each等代词或数词的前后表示整体与部分的关系时,可以用f which/whm。

有时为表达清楚,也可以在关系副词where/when前加介词frm/t等,平时也应掌握,但非高考重点。

where、when、why引导的定语从句
当定语从句中不缺少主语、宾语、定语和表语时,要选用关系副词, 关系副词在从句中作状语。其中when, where, why是常见的三个关系副词。
名师点津:
当先行词为一些表示抽象地点的名词,如:pint, situatin, case, stage, family等时,如果引导词在从句中作状语,常用关系副词where引导定语从句;如果不作状语,则用关系代词that/which。

形式不同
限制性定语从句主句和从句之间不用逗号隔开,口语中使用时也不停顿;而非限制性定语从句与主句之间通常有逗号隔开,口语中使用时有停顿。

先行词不同
限制性定语从句的先行词只能是名词或代词,而非限制性定语从句的先行词则可以是名词或代词,也可以是短语或句子;另外,当先行词为专有名词或其他具有独一无二性的普通名词时,通常要用非限制性定语从句,而不用限制性定语从句。
