      During the summer, Hu Miakun, a 19-year-ld with cngenital (先天的) deafness, received ffers frm seven universities, after years f effrts.
      Brn in 2005 in a village in Hubei Prvince, Hu lst his father at five and later lived with his grandparents after his mther remarried.       NASA says a spaceship that has been examining the sun’s utermst atmsphere recently gt clser t ur Earth’s star than any past explrer ever has.
      The American space agency annunced its Parker Slar Prbe passed within 6.1 millin kilmeters f the sun’s uter crna (日冕) n December 24. Missin leaders established cmmunicatin with the spaceship after the peratin and said the rbiter was safe.
      NASA launched the Parker Slar Prbe in August 2018. Its missin is t study the sun’s pwerful crna and slar wind. Slar wind is created by a cntinueus flw f charged particles, called plasma, int space frm the crna.
      In 2021, NASA annunced the rbiter had passed int the slar atmsphere fr the first time. At the time, the spaceship had successfully “tuched” the sun.
      The Parker Slar Prbe is believed t have traveled at speeds up t 692,000 kilmeters per hur during the missin. NASA said this was “faster than any human-made bject has ever mved.”
