      It happened in the Qing Dynasty.

      It happened in Tngcheng, Anhui prvince.

      The Zhangs and the Wus.

      The tw families argued ver the dividing line between their huses, and they didn’t reach an agreement.

      Each f the family gave up three chi t their neighbur ut f kindness.
      What des the stry teach us abut relatinship?
      Kindness can bring mre kindness.
      Have yu ever had r watched an argument r cnflict (冲突)? What was it abut and hw was it slved?
      Step 1: Think f an argument r cnflict yu have ever experienced. Organise yur ideas by answering the fllwing questins.

      Step 2: Write abut yur stry with the help f the chart.
      What tenses can we use when telling a stry?
      We can use either the simple present tense r the simple past tense.
      Sample Writing
      One Mnday afternn after schl, Tm and Jerry were in the schl library. They bth wanted t brrw the nly cpy f their favrite bk. Since the library culdn’t lend it t bth f them at nce, they started arguing abut wh shuld brrw it first.
      Tm sn calmed dwn. He suggested they read the bk tgether in the library that day. Jerry thught it was a gd idea. Then they fund a quiet crner and read the bk tgether. 
      This stry shws that in friendships, it’s imprtant t be kind and think f each ther. By wrking tgether, we can slve prblems and keep ur friendships strng. Smetimes, sharing isn’t just abut giving smething up—it’s abut gaining smething even better.
