      This class is mainly abut selecting the apprpriate club based n students' wn hbbies and abilities.Thrugh the previus three classes,students have learned the basic sentence patterns f “What can yu d?What club d yu want t jin?” Thrugh reading and ther frms,the learned cntent can be further cnslidated.Many students have a relatively weak fundatin in English.In rder t mbilize their enthusiasm,the teacher shuld try t create real situatins fr students t use the target language t cmmunicate,imprve their language prficiency,and enhance their emtins with each ther.

      Then cllect their answers and write sme key wrds n the blackbard.
      设计意图:通过对三位学生兴趣爱好的简要了解,为后面的语篇学习做铺垫。
      Activity 2 Pre­reading:Predictin(感知与注意)

      设计意图:通过观察语篇,让学生判断文本体裁。要求学生看图片,预测广告内容,可以培养学生观察、分析、判断等逻辑思维能力。
      Activity 3 Fast reading(获取与梳理)

      Let the students read the title and ask them what the title We Want Yu! mean.
      Ask students t read the ads quickly and then chse a club fr each student in 1a.Then ask students t underline the reasns in the ads.
      Check the answers by asking “What club can Alice/Lin Hui/Jack jin?Why?”.
      设计意图:通过快速阅读,为三位同学挑选适合加入的社团,达到快速阅读获取关键信息的目的,培养速读能力。
      Activity 4 Careful reading(获取与梳理)

      In the discurse,there are 3 clubs,and they have different needs,such as what t d,where t meet/g,when t meet and wh t write t.Let students read three ads carefully and cmplete the table in 1c.While the students are reading,the teacher mve arund t give prper help.
      Then let students exchange their answers with their partners t get the right answers.At last,chse students t read the answers in 1c and make sure the whle class get the right answers.
      设计意图:通过仔细阅读,查找所需细节,培养学生阅读能力;学生将获取的信息填入表格,是在绘制思维导图,这有利于培养学生将知识结构化的能力。
      Activity 5 Retell the ads(内化与运用)
      Ask the students t retell ne f the ads accrding the table.
      Practice retelling by themselves.And the teacher prvides the table n the screen.
      Then invite sme students t retell the ads.They can begin like this:If yu lve Chinese fd and can ck,yu can jin the cking club.In the club,yu can…
      While they retell,ask the thers t listen carefully.Then get them t evaluate the retelling.
      设计意图:根据表格中的基本信息,引导学生复述广告,有利于学生内化目标语言,提升综合语言运用能力;同时其他学生的评价可以促进学生反思自己课堂内学习表现,有利于调整学习策略,提升学习能力。
