Activity 1 Warming up and revisin(感知与注意)
T:Gd mrning,bys and girls!When we meet ur friends,ur teachers and classmates in the mrning,we shuld say “Gd mrning” t them.But d yu knw what we shuld say when we meet them in the afternn r in the evening?Tday,we will cntinue learning t greet peple.(Thrugh teacherstudent dialgues such as“—Hell!—Hell!Nice t meet yu. —Nice t meet yu t.” and ther greeting ways,we can review what we have learned.)
设计意图:通过师生对话的方式复习所学内容,也为接下来的对话做好铺垫。
Activity 2 Presentatin(获取与梳理)

Tick the expressins that start a cnversatin.(Students read the sentences in 1a tgether,and the teacher listens carefully t their prnunciatin.)
Then lead them t make a cnversatin.(Students greet each ther t enhance their feelings twards each ther.)

Activity 3 Practice(概括与整合)

Befre practicing the tw cnversatins,ask them t answer the fllwing questins:
What's Emma's full name?(Emma Miller.)
What's her first name?(Emma.)
Hw is Helen?(She's great.)
What's Wang Yaming's last name?(Wang.)
Ask students t answer these fur questins,thereby guiding them t pay attentin t the differences between Chinese and English names.
Then practice the cnversatins in pairs.And ask several pairs t act ut the cnversatins.
设计意图:从问题中关注重点,同时归纳中英文姓名的区别。
Activity 4 Rleplay(想象与创造)

First,let students practice the cnversatins in 1b.Familiarize and fluently master the cntent frm the textbk thrugh training.
Read the cnversatins in 1b again and answer the 4 questins.Check the answers tgether.

Cmplete the cnversatins.Then rleplay them with a partner.Later,ask students t create their wn dialgues.

Activity 5 Learn hw t use a dictinary(归纳与应用)

Ask students t bring a Chinese dictinary and an English dictinary t schl.First,the teacher asks them hw t use a Chinese dictinary.(Let students discuss hw t use a Chinese dictinary,thereby guiding them t learn hw t use an English dictinary.) Then write sme wrds n the blackbard and ask them t find the wrds accrding t the rules they just said,fr example,at,asleep,awake,awful,aunt,etc.Then lead them t put them in rder(asleep,at,aunt,awake,awful).Then guide them t find the advantage f the dictinary,especially when they encunter new wrds.

Ask students t number the fllwing wrds in alphabetical rder.Then get sme t read the answers ne by ne.

Ask them t find these wrds in a dictinary as fast as they can.Check wh finishes it the fastest.
