II. 句型:
1. 肯定句 +“until” + 句子或词组或单词,意思是一直做某事,直到…才停
2. 否定句 +“until” + 句子或词组或单词, 意思是直到…才会做某事。
3. althugh/thugh表示“虽然”,两者大致同义,可换用,只是 althugh 比 thugh 更为正式:
Thugh it was raining,we went there. 虽然下着雨,但我们还是去了那儿。
Thugh it was barely fur ’clck, the lights were already n.
尽管才四点钟,灯已经亮了。
4. althugh 一般不用作副词,而 thugh 可用作副词,且一般放在句末(不放在句首),意为“可是”、“不过”。
