最高级 superlative
两者进行比较，表示“一方与另一方一样……，用“as+原级+as”的结构，否定也可用“nt as/s+原级+as”的结构。

英语不如科学那么难。

形容词，副词的比较级和最高级
①直接加-er 或 -est

Tip:lder 一般指年龄大小； My father is lder than my mther. elder指长幼关系（一般修饰名词作定语）; My elder brther is a driver.

当两个人或两件事物进行比较时，形容词和副词要用比较级，也就是词尾-er形式，比较级常常用than（标志）来连接被比较的两个人或事物。
两者进行比较，表示“一方比另一方更……”基本句型：A mdern train is faster than a car. Tm jumps higher than Jack.
1. A + be + 形容词比较级 + than + B
2. A+实义动词+副词比较级+than + B
2. 主语+谓语+the+比较级+f the tw “主语是两者中较…的一个”
杰克是兄弟二人中较瘦的一个。
Eg:Jack is the thinner f the tw brthers.
3. 比较级+and+比较级… “越来越…”
越来越好， 越来越高越来越美丽， 越来越外向

4.当表示一方超过另一方的“程度”时，可以用much, a lt,even, far, a little, a bit（相差程度小）, 等来修饰形容词比较级。注意：比较级不能用very, s, t等修饰。

5. the+比较级（+名词）+主+谓，the+比较级（+名词） +主+谓 “越…就越…”
你学习越努力，你越能取得好成绩。
The harder yu study, the better grades yu will get.
你吃得越多，你就会越胖。
The mre yu eat, the fatter yu will be.
6.less＋（多音节和部分双音节原级）＋than + B “A不如B...”
The bk is less interesting than that ne.
7.比较对象必须一致。
yurs相当于yur hair
My hair is lnger than yurs.
形容词、副词的最高级用于三个或三个以上的人或事物之间的比较，常用f/in短语来说明比较的范围。

1.主语+ be+ the+形容词最高级+in/f ...
2.主语+实义动词（+the）+副词最高级+in/f ...
3.主语+be+ ne f the+形容词最高级+可数名词复数+in/f ...

Tip：当最高级前有名词所有格和物主代词时，the要去掉。

相同点：两句都是含有than的比较级句型；不同点：第一句比较级形式表达最高级含义；第二句只是 表达两者比较。
方框中的句子有何异同？
用法：比较级形式表最高级含义。（比较双方属于同一范围内） a. 比较级＋than＋any ther＋单数名词+范围 eg:He is taller than any ther by in his class.
b. 比较级 ＋ than＋the ther＋复数名词+范围 比较级 ＋ than＋the rest f ＋ 复数名词+范围eg:She is thinner than the ther girls /the rest f girls in her class.
比较级形式表最高级含义。（比较双方不属于同一范围内）
